19th c. Leather and Chrome Field Binoculars & Case c.1880 Architectural Knee Clearance: 24ABOUT An original pair of leather and chrome field binoculars with original leather case. "Chevalier Paris and Jockey Club Paris" are embossed on each eye piece. The objective lenses are 48mm in diameter and their optics are good. The frame is a chrome and the barrels are covered in leather. The metal focus wheel works well. The strap has been replaced. The piece is in good condition with appropriate patina for its age.
