The birdhouse will withstand harsh weather with no rotting and splitting of materials. The roof is removable for easy cleaning of the 5"DIA. x 12"H feeder tube. Brackets are attached to fit a 4" x 4" post. For a finished touch, we also sell a vinyl sleeve that can be used to cover a wood post. 14"SQ. x 30"H
