Germany, Wehrmacht. A Close Combat Clasp, Bronze Grade, By Funcke & Brüninghaus GTRexclude chipping evident in the white(Nahkampfspange in Bronze). Constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse with a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, with a bayonet and hand grenade in the centerpiece, with sun rays emanating from the centre of the left and right sides and four oak leaves and two acorns on each side, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked F. & B. L. for Funcke & Brninghaus, Ldenscheid, measuring 98.
