Multi piece construction in bronze gilt, cross in red enamel with Imperial Crown. The centre of the cross bearing the royal monogram of its founder, Ferdinand I of Bulgaria, is surrounded by a ring in green enamel and the inscription . Reverse shows crowned lion in gold surrounded by a ring in green enamel and the inscription, 2 1891. Measures 51. 1 mm (w) x 89. 3 mm (l), triangular ribbon,
