An oval medal constructed of 22kt Gold (tested), the obverse with the Royal Cypher surrounded by an ornate border, the reverse inscribed Kaisar i Hind for Public Service in India with a central depiction of three poppy stamen, suspended from a fixed loop and swivel ring from its miniature faded ribbon for Dames with a matching 22kt Gold horizontal pinback assembly, unmarked, measuring 13. 1 mm (w) x 24. 8 mm (l), the
