French Porro Prism "American Style" Binoculars by Palomar c.1950 Sofas DIMENSIONS H 45ABOUT This is an original pair of French porro prism field binoculars manufactured by Palomar, France. They are Palomar's American style center focus binocular, marked "Palomar Paris", magnification "8 x 26" serial # "1763". The objective lenses are 35mm in diameter and their optics are good. The frame is a black coated magnesium and the barrels are covered with black pig leather. The metal focus wheel works well as does the individual right scope
