Large Mosaic Work Parquetry Set in Original Slide Top Box oil paint with drawings by Nanogak throughoutThis wonderful antique "Mosaic Work" parquetry set, produced in Germany I believe in the 1850 60s or so, seems likely to be missing just a few pieces or it may be that I just don't know how to fit them together properly! Whatever the case, it's a beauty of a set, and a very rare one to find, with its original pair of design cards inside, suggesting various forms to be made. I just dumped them all out on the table and started playing, and could go on
