This is an extremely scarce Australian Made Marine Raider patch made in the well known Bevo Weave style. The "Raiders" formed an elite corps that participated in amphibious warfare starting in World War II. The patch is blue with a 'Smiling Skull' in the center of a red diamond surrounded by five stars. This style is associated with Australian makers. It measures 2 x 2 and is Bevo Woven, with just some light fraying
