JONES 10 on the tail of the lock, indicating production in 1710 by maker I. Jones (or possibly J. Jones). This maker worked in LONDON from 1700 until 1725, and was well known for making these NAVAL BLUNDERBUSSES, many of which were acquired by the Royal Navy for use on their
