SOLD Very Old Carved Wooden Doll Head with Old Paint and Wire Loop Earrings antique folk art mirror She didn't know the originsFound yesterday in Maine, and clearly a very old one, which I assume would have been sewn onto a cloth torso, perhaps with carved wooden arms and lower legs sewn onto that. Beautifully worn and aged, with deep carving for her hair and some old paint still hanging onto wood, particularly the black of her eyes and pink of her cheeks. And then these wonderful wire loops for earrings. Old, old, with a terrific pursed expression on her face. 2 3 4" t x 2 1
