This is a very nice WWII German Labor Front (Deutsche Arbeitsfront or DAF) Flag Pole Finial or Topper (Fahnenstange Endstck). It is constructed of aluminum with a steel threaded bolt at the bottom, and is the later design. It is missing the screwable base which would normally have an RZM maker marking. The finial measures approximately 9 long with the gear having a diameter of 5 . This piece would go atop the golden
