In addition to the white chairs

Nothing fussy about it

and wonderfully arching back too

Antique Tintype of Handsome Painter (?) in Overalls with Etched Order On Reverse decorative I'd think he dates toI've been trying to figure out what the text scratched into the back of this tintype might indicate but don't have an answer. It looks like an occupational photo of sorts to me, with this handsome man in bowler and paint spattered overalls suggesting perhaps a painter to me or maybe the "bust" described on the back of the tintype refers to a sculpture, and our man works in plaster. Certainly it seems like a job that is being described "Order #240"
