This is a lovely little British "Box Lock" style Pocket Flintlock pistol, featuring a 2 1 2 inch "turn off" . 42" bore barrel, which at this time is unfortunately frozen to the frame. It is signed on the sides of the "Box lock" with HEATON & SMITH on the left, and LONDON on the right. This is a known maker of flintlock pocket pistols during the early 19th century in London, though we are unfortunately not able to
