This tool is great to have when swapping cams or cam gears as it allows you to hold tension on the timing arm from an easily accessible place while releasing the timing belt. It also allows you to apply pressure to the tensioner arm to put the grenade pin back into the hydraulic tensioner while still installed in the vehicle.
