1875 Wood Engraving Sloop Santa Martha Ship Sail Rio Negro Brazil Raft XGHC1 CL2 This 98+ year old ItemThis is an original 1875 black and white wood engraving of the Sloop Santa Martha arriving to pick up a traveler on route to Para on Brazil. A group of drunken Barra Traders insisted on seeing off the traveler aboard a raft in the waters of the Rio Negro. CONDITION This 136+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Light aging throughout. No creases. There is light bleedthrough on this piece from the verso. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage.
