There are two types of wheels you will use when sharpening your skates: Hollow Grinding Wheels and Flat Grinding Wheels. Hollow Grinding Wheels are used to sharpen your steel to your favorite radius of hollow. If you're unsure which hollow to start with, it's recommended using a 3 4" wheel as a baseline.
