1944 Print World War II Albert Gold Art G. I. Soldiers Sleep Military AAF1 Spain Weather Eye SystemThis is an original 1944 World War II halftone print of "Sleeping G. I.'s And Weapons Carrier." A Philadelphia native, Sergeant Albert Gold studied under Franklin Watkins at the School of Industrial Art. His works have been exhibited at the University of Pennsylvania, the Metropolitan Museum in New York City, as well as at a variety of large museums. He served with the Armed Forces in Great Britain, and was one of few men commissioned by the United
