and it has been enhanced sometime in the early 1900s (the pointy part has been spruced up with paint of some sorts)

4 German Resin Amber Beads Tradewinds beads 17 grams of these amazing4 German resin amber beads, puffy diamond shape with 2 holes for creative design! 22 24mm diameter x 21 22mm tall, with 2mm holes. Approximately 100 years old, found in Mauritania and Niger. This is an imitation amber, (like Bakelite, referred to as Phenolic Amber) made from plant resin in Germany in the early 1900's and traded in West Africa. These have become quite rare. A wonderful focal bead element. Price is for these 4 beads.
