Domaine Sylvain Pataille Marsannay Rouge La Montagne 2022 CS20231031 Strikingly mineralLa Montagne sits at the top of Marsannay's slope at 315 meters, where the soil is shallow enough that the vines root more or less straight into the hard Comblanchien and Prmeaux limestone beneath which is exactly where the wine's cool, mineral snap comes from.
