Pre Prohibition Abbott's Aged Bitters Copper Advertising Thermometer countertop display AB - 104522 - 050422This antique thermometer was developed for C. W. Abbott & Co. of Baltimore, MD in order to advertise their renowned "aged" bitters. Abbott's bitters were a staple in cocktails prior to prohibition in the US and the brand has since seen some minor revival from small batch makers. The entirety of the thermometer is made of copper.
